This photo of my SV tail because Stephen Ludwig said it looked cool when we were battling in the 12 lap Twins GT race on Saturday at Buttonwillow. I did a PB of 1.58.17 in that race. I’ve been working hard to get back close to my fastest riding like in my 20’s and 30’s and it’s paying off with with fun fights with riders like Rob Weaver and with the satisfaction I feel in a job well done.
On the down side, I wearing my tires out faster. My med rear Bridgestone is done after only 3 days and one race. That’s 40 Willow laps, 100 miles, 52.8 minutes. Plus 87 Buttonwillow laps, 230.55 miles, 226.8 minutes. For a total of 127 laps, 330.55 miles, 3 hours and 45 minutes of racing. My best lap in the last race was 1.5 seconds off my PB. Lindemann Engineering suspension and smooth riding pay off. You can hire me for both and race start coaching.
