This is an aftermarket support for Cookies shift shaft. It uses a 14 mm shock shaft bushing but the shift shaft is 13.65 mm. I made a new bushing with a 13.70 ID. At the same time I added a 0.3 mm shim to the shift lever pivot to remove the play there. All the little things add up.
