Ready To Race
This weekend at Willow with WERA will be the first time I’ve run a bike with Superbike Bars since some time in the Eighties. That’s 1980’s to you, Kid.
Chain
Chain must be gold.
Superbike Bars
I tried two different styles of Drag Bars on my SV 650 but they don’t feel right. Time for Superbike Bars. I’ve also spaced the tank up to let more cool air to the air box and added a Chin Pad to the top of the tank.
Hawaii Sports Adventure
The final THRRA race of 1996.
Moto Sports Hawaii
Two laps of Hawaii Raceway Park from 1992. We taped a Super 8 video camera to my helmet and made a TV show.
Shop Improvements
Welding Table and Sink. I painted this part of the floor, added wiring and plumbing, then replaced and painted the drywall. The table is covered with 1/8 thick steel and mounted to the floor and wall. Next step is to cut a board to cover the sink for extra work space. When not in use the board will live between the sink and washer. The pull out faucet reaches the swamp cooler that parks in front the the table. Still to do: shelf for the radio, hang LED light over the work space, trophy shelf, above washer & dryer. Then it will be time to paint the rest of the floor.
