Ready!
Cookie is ready. One and a half weeks till the big race. Superbike Showdown @ Willow with CTD Oct 4th & 5th.

24
Ever work on so many bikes you can’t remember what size tool you need for that whatever? This axle takes a 24mm. You’re welcome.
Time To Ride!
These 2000 GSXR 1300 forks were first here in 2016 for rebuild, springs and valving. Nine years later they came back for a rebuild because the seals were leaking. The fork oil looked new and the old stickers peeled off without leaving any goo behind. New seals, new oil and new stickers. Time to ride!
Stickers!
They don’t get the stickers till they have the LE valving.

Forked?
Cookies legs have been removed. Will she be ready in time?

Three Weeks!
I made a new exhaust bracket and seat pad for Cookie. Three weeks till the big race!

The Shock is Back
The shock now has LE Valving and is back on Cookie. The race weekend is 25 days away.

Be Prepared
Cookie has fresh clutch plates and a new clutch cover gasket. I have just one weekend to improve on my Willow PB of 1.24.5 from 22 years ago and I don’t want to miss it because I did not put in the work to be ready. The aluminum tube next to the front wheel will be part of the new M4 exhaust bracket.

No Shock
Back to work on Cookie. Her shock is out for LE valving and a spring for my weight. Note the Ti nuts holding the sprocket. We will be ready for the Superbike Showdown Oct 4th & 5th.
